24th August Rally against the 2nd Wave of IR legislation - Archibald Fountain, Hyde Park then march on to the Prime Minister's office
2nd September The Senate passes the Junior Rates legislation
3rd September East Timor fund raising event - Harbourside Brasserie
14th September Launch of ACTU Unions@Work Report - Park Royal Darling Harbour
16th September Phil Davey of the CFMEU (Construction & General Division) present a $5,000 cheque to APHEDA for the East Timor appeal
18th September East Timor rally with APHEDA and the CFMEU
30th September Social Wellbeing Seminar in conjunction with NCOSS & ECC - Masonic Centre
22nd October Rally on the `2nd Wave IR legislation' outside the Senate Inquiry into Workplace Relations Act, Gazebo Hotel, Elizabeth Bay
27th October Stress Free Day `Big Lunch Break', Hyde Park, Sydney
29th October Support function for the Republic with Kim Beazley at the Metro on George Street, Sydney
5th November Unions 2000 launched
