Unions Call for Burma Boycott

International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) affiliated unions are urging Austrian Airlines subsidiary Lauda Air to terminate its recently introduced air services to Burma.

The call was made at a meeting of the ITF's Star Alliance Union Coalition, which represents workers within the world's largest airline alliance. It is supported by the HTV, the union organising most workers in Austrian Airlines, and the ÖGB national centre.
