‘Smoko’ Causing Workplace Tensions
By Crown Content
The issue of smoking at work has the potential to create serious divisions between non-smokers and their smoking colleagues, with a new survey revealing that most workers resent the amount of time their colleagues spend on smoking breaks.
A survey has found that two-thirds of non-smokers believe that smoking breaks decrease productivity.
Also a report in the ACT has found that designated "non-smoking areas" are more an illusion than a reality. This finding comes as the Victorian and Tasmanian governments move to create more such areas.
