Workplace Email: friend or foe?

The increasing reliance on email as a communications tool is proving to be a mixed blessing.

According to the results of a survey by the Australian Psychological Society (APS), for many the daily grind of dealing with email messages is proving a major workplace stressor.

Here she outlines email communications styles and how they add to stress, the disruption email causes to other tasks and some effective coping strategies.
