Paid Annual Leave in Australia: An Analysis of Actual and Desired Entitlements

Surveys show that many full time employees have difficulty accessing their paid annual leave entitlements.
Most full time employees in Australia are entitled to four weeks paid annual leave, which, compared to other developed countries, is towards the lower end of the entitlements spectrum for full time employees. Data indicates that many would be happy to trade off a small rise in pay to purchase additional leave.
