Workers unite to win severance pay for retrenched Securicor Indonesia employees.

After a strike for severance pay and back pay Securicor Indonesia paid out to 159 Indonesian security workers. Group 4 Securicor is a huge Britisah owned multinational with 430,000 staff around the globe. The payout was the result of a 15 moth long strike by Securicor Indonesi Labour Union , an affiliate of the Association of Indonesian Labour Unions (ASPEK Indonesia. It was a direct result of an international partnership based on the shared interests of security officers in different countries working for and having their rights violated by the same company.
