Peter Lewis

Peter Lewis

Position: Media Officer

Peter Lewis is responsible for the Labor Council's online and real-world media. He also edits Workers Online, LaborNet's weekly workers' zine. Peter has been with Labor Council since 1998.

Peter has worked previously as a media advisor to NSW Attorney General and Minister for Industrial Relations, Jeff Shaw; an industrial reporter with the Daily Telegraph and a journalist with Australian Associated Press.

Peter has Arts and Law degrees from Sydney University, where he edited Honi Soit and Polemic. He is the author of three books: Ship of Tools, Tales from the New Shop Floor and The Convert: a Fan's Journey from League to AFL.

Peter is the Director of Rivet Media.
